{soups-salads-and-salad-dressings} SLOW COOKER BEEF STEW



This stew is cooked in a slow manner, but you won't be slow to say, "delicious!" All you have to do is put the ingredients in the crock pot and wait! The savory scent of vegetables and beef will make your mouth instantly water!

  • Servings: 4-6
  • Prep Time: 20 min
  • Cook Time: 10-12 hours
  • Total Time: 12 hours and 20 min


2 TbspOlive Oil
2 lbBeef, cut into 2" pieces
1Large Onion, chopped
3Potatoes, cubed
½ cupCarrots, chopped
½ cupGreen Beans, cut into pieces
½ cupKetchup
2 TbspWorcestershire Sauce
1 TbspDark Brown Sugar
1 TbspPaprika
½ tspDry Mustard
2 cupsBeef Stock
¼ cupFlour


In a large pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sear meat on all sides and then remove. Place the beef in a lightly greased crock pot. Add the onions, carrots, and green beans. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire, flour, brown sugar, paprika, dry mustard and beef broth. Pour the mixture over the meat in the crock pot; cook for 10 to 12 hours on low heat.
