{soups-salads-and-salad-dressings} MAPLE YOGURT SALAD DRESSING 

 

MAPLE YOGURT SALAD DRESSING 
 
1/4 cup 100% maple syrup
2 tbsp. light brown sugar (or to taste)
1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
2 tbsp. whipping cream or heavy cream
 
In a medium bowl, combine maple syrup and sugar. Using a beater, whip on low speed until mixture is smooth. Add cream and beat on high speed until dressing
is light and creamy.
 
Serve over fresh fruit or fruit sprinkled with granola or grape-nuts.
 
Refrigerate leftover dressing for up to 3 days.
 
Variation: Sour cream (or half sour cream and half yogurt) may be substituted for the yogurt.
