{soups-salads-and-salad-dressings} Fruit Salsa

Linda shares a couple.

Fruit Salsa

Ingredients:

3 Kiwi, peeled and diced

2 crisp apples, peeled and diced

1 - 8-oz container of strawberries, diced

1 container raspberries, diced

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons fruit preserves (I use cherry or strawberry)

Chips:

Large size flour tortillas

Cinnamon and sugar

Melted butter

Directions:

Dice all fruit (this is the time-consuming part).

Gently toss all fruit with sugar and preserves.

Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Melt a couple of tablespoons butter depending on how many tortillas you are making

Brush each tortilla with melted butter

Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar  (Much easier to use the pre-mixed cinnamon & sugar)

Cut tortilla into wedges and place on a cookie sheet.

Bake for approximately 8-10 minutes just until they begin to crisp.  Time depends on individual oven so watch carefully the first time.

As you waste your breath complaining about life, someone out there is breathing their last.

Appreciate what you have.

Be thankful and stop complaining.

Live more, complain less.

Have more smiles, less stress.
