{soups-salads-and-salad-dressings} Hot Bacon Dressing

 

Hot Bacon Dressing - Egg Version

Ingredients
4 to 6 slices bacon
1 1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
2 eggs -- whisked with a fork

Instructions
Chop the bacon and fry until nicely browned. Add the water and sugar. Keep stirring over medium heat. Add vinegar. Add the eggs and cook until slightly thickened.

Use on lettuce, salad mixes, or for warm potato salad. Refrigerate extra dressing.
