Tossed Steak Salad with Spicy Garlic Dressing Prep Time: 40 min Total Time: 40 min Makes: 6 servings Spicy garlic dressing flavors a dinner salad of grilled steak and greens. 1/4 | cup olive or vegetable oil | 2 | tablespoons chopped fresh parsley | 3 | tablespoons red wine vinegar | 1 | tablespoon lemon juice | 1 | teaspoon chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves | 1/2 | teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes | 2 | cloves garlic, finely chopped | 2 | medium green onions, thinly sliced (2 tablespoons) | 2 | large plum (Roma) tomatoes, chopped | 1 | beef boneless top sirloin steak (1 lb), 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick | 1 | large red or yellow bell pepper | 1/4 | teaspoon salt | 1/8 | teaspoon pepper | 6 | cups bite-size pieces salad greens | 1 | cup sliced fresh mushrooms (3 oz) | 1. | Heat gas or charcoal grill.
