Round Steak

1 pound beef boneless round steak -- cut into 1/2" pieces
1 cup onion -- chopped
2 medium celery ribs -- cut into 1/2" slices
2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans diced tomatoes -- undrained
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
3 teaspoons chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup green bell pepper -- cut into 1" dice
1 (14.5 oz.) can kidney beans -- rinsed and drained
GARNISH
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Green onions -- thinly sliced
1. Mix all ingredients except bell pepper, beans and cheese in 3 1/2 to 4 quart crock pot.
2. Cover and cook on LOW heat setting 6 to 7 hours or until beef and vegetables are tender.
3. Stir in bell pepper and beans. Uncover and cook on HIGH setting about 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
4. Serve with cheese and green onions.
