Honey Poppy Seed Dressing Recipe


This simple, fast dressing is a light refreshing way to dress up a plain lettuce salad.—Michelle Bentley, Waukesha, Wisconsin

    Yield: 5-6 Servings


Ingredients

    1/3 cup canola oil
    1/4 cup honey
    2 tablespoons cider vinegar
    2 teaspoons poppy seeds
    1/2 teaspoon salt


Directions

    In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients. Serve over a green salad or fresh fruit. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: about 2/3 cup.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 tablespoons) equals 155 calories, 12 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 197 mg sodium, 12 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein.
